The Epitome of Stupidity

The anonymity of the internet brings out the very worst in humanity.I enjoy using Firefox, but I also have an AOL account that I use for email and occasionally I like to check the comments listed under the news stories because they can be humorous.Unfortunately, they are also disheartening. People let go of any restraint they might have and show their raging stupidity, unafraid of the consequences because they know they're protected by the facelessness that is the internet. Racism, sexism and intolerance are a few things that are not uncommon in these comments. If you are unfamiliar with AOL, your probably familiar with YouTube and the ridiculously stupid comments people will post, and if there is some issue at hand to discuss, they can be just as bad as the AOL people.

People can help make the internet a better place by remembering to use restraint and rational thought in their posts.

I've been putting up some drawings and plan to keep adding new ones. I'll get around to coloring these soon, but for now I just want to display some examples of the kind of stuff that goes on in my head!

I've also started a series of stories called "What the Story?" They make no sense whatsoever, but I'm hoping that's where the humor comes in! I'll add the first one soon.

I recently returned from Washington D.C. and have some new photos from the trip. I also added some photos early last month.

Stay awesome!

For so long I have had a lack of ideas on what to make in the nature portion of things I create.

Among other things, I collect the skulls of animals and am often dissappointed at how hard it can be to get a good quality head bone for the right price, especially with the larger animals. Still, sometimes I end up buying these because the damage to the skull looks minimal when they are shown in a picture on the internet.

I got a sheep skull in a couple weeks ago with missing nasal bones and decided that if I painted it, it could add some charm the damage took away. I painted a couple skulls before but it was with this skull that my idea came. I can paint the skull and then adorn, decorate, bejewel etc. with some of the stuff I have. I think some of the Mesoamericans also did this to the skulls of their dead.

Now, I am actually looking for damaged skulls, as long as they are not too expensive.

The sheep skull is already on the way to becoming complete, so look out for it sometime in the near future.
